Fort Worth, Texas – The BNSF members have elected Jason Maxfield to serve as General Chairman through 2025. Maxfield is a 5th-generation railroader who began his career as a conductor in 2002. Initially working in Denver, Colorado, Maxfield also served as yardmaster before moving to Fort Worth, Texas in 2005 to become a Train Dispatcher. Maxfield commented on his election, “I am extremely honored to have been elected your new General Chairman. A few words to summarize my approach to this new journey for myself and others: integrity, pride, professionalism, openness, and accountability. I know change can be concerning, but amazing things can happen when people unite”.
