New ATDA President Ed Dowell and other Rail Labor leaders have just concluded a meeting with the National Carrier’s Conference Committee (NCCC), to determine the 2024 monthly cost-share amount for employee Health and Welfare coverage. Due to an increase in active covered employees and favorable claim experience, our members’ monthly rate for coverage will not increase in 2024. In an era of skyrocketing healthcare costs, this victory further enhances the value of the historically favorable PEB that resolved the latest round of collective bargaining.
