On August 26th, the strike action of 17,000 Communications Workers of America (CWA) members reached its eleventh day. Taking place after the breakdown of recent contract negotiations, CWA indicates that employer AT&T Southeast refuses to bargain in good faith.
ATDA recognizes CWA’s fight for better pay and working conditions as an extension of our own. Furthermore, it has come to the attention of ATDA that some of our members’ families include CWA family members. Considering this, ATDA wishes to express full support for our Union CWA brothers and sisters during their struggle and to remind them that we stand with them in fraternal solidarity.
