ATDA President Ed Dowell met with President of the United States Joe Biden in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 8 and raised concerns regarding issues impacting ATDA members. The exchange was made possible as President Biden invited several Rail Labor leaders to meet privately, prior to a press conference highlighting the newly funded $3 billion BrightLine West Rail Project. The line, which will deliver world-class high-speed rail, will connect Los Angeles, CA to Las Vegas, NV and create thousands of union railroad jobs.
