ATDA Trustee / Kiamichi System Committee General Chairman
Andy serves as a member of ATDA’s Board of Trustees and is General Chairman of the Kiamichi System Committee. He began his railroad career in 2004 as a Freight Conductor with the Kiamichi Railroad, in Hugo, OK. In the years since, Andy has also worked as a Train Dispatcher and Footboard Yardmaster, before returning to Train & Engine service.
Andy began his career as an ATDA representative in 2006, when he was elected as Vice General Chairman of the Kiamichi System Committee. A few years later, in 2008, he was elected as General Chairman of the committee, a role in which he has now served in four different terms. Additionally, Andy serves as an ATDA National Officer and member of its Joint Board, where he serves as a Trustee of the Organization. He was elected to that position at ATDA’s 34th General Assembly in October 2023.
As General Chairman, Andy serves as head of the Kiamichi system committee and as the chief local authority on matters involving ATDA members and the Kiamichi Railroad.
