ATDA Trustee / Executive Assistant to the President / CRLO Administrator
David serves as a member of ATDA’s Board of Trustees, as the Executive Assistant to the President, and as the Administrator of the Cooperating Rail Labor Organizations (CRLO). He works from the Dallas / Ft. Worth, Texas area and began his railroad career as a BNSF Train Dispatcher in 2011. He worked in that role until 2023, having amassed twelve years of Dispatching experience. During that time, he became an ATDA representative in 2017, when he was elected as Vice General Chairman of the BNSF System Committee.
In 2019, he was elected as the Committee’s General Chairman and was subsequently re-elected to another term in 2022. David served as a delegate to ATDA’s 34th General Assembly in October 2023, where he was elected as an ATDA Trustee. He then joined the ATDA staff shortly after.
In his current role as Executive Assistant to the President, David coordinates a variety of strategic and operational tasks as assigned by ATDA President Dowell. As CRLO administrator, he has been appointed to effectuate the collective voice of all participating unions in administering the Railroad Employees National Health and Welfare Plan, which covers over 300,000 railroaders, dependents, and retirees.
