Assistant Director of Research
Ben is the ATDA’s Assistant Director of Research, and he works at the National Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. He began his railroad career in 2007 as a Train Dispatcher on the CSX System. In the years since, Ben was elected to 4 terms as an ATDA representative, including two consecutive as the CSX General Chairman. During that time, Ben also served as a Delegate to ATDA’s 32nd, 33rd, and 34th General Assemblies.
As ADR, Ben assists the National Officers, General Chairs, and System Committee Officers with preparing dispute cases for arbitration. This includes preparation of appeals and grievances as needed, as well as assisting with discipline investigations, hearings, contract negotiations, and other duties assigned by the President.
