CLEVELAND, Ohio - American Train Dispatchers Association (ATDA) members from the Texas based Trinity Rail System have ratified new collective bargaining agreements, covering both Train Dispatchers and TY&E employees. The Trinity Train Dispatchers voted to ratify their agreement on March 9, 2026, while the System’s TY&E members voted to ratify their own agreement on May 15, 2026.
The agreements include wage increases of 15% by June 1, 2029, additional paid time off, and other work rule improvements.
ATDA National President Ed Dowell praised the efforts of the TRE bargaining team and the participation of the membership throughout the process. “These ratification votes represent important progress for ATDA members at Trinity Railway Express,” Dowell said. “I appreciate the dedication and professionalism shown by General Chairman Mickey Scoggins and the members who remained engaged throughout negotiations and ratification. I’d also like to thank Vice President Colin Thurman for his leadership throughout this process.”
