ATDA receives court order regarding BLET strike of NJT

On May 18, 2025, the Court issued an Order temporarily restraining and enjoining ATDA from:

calling, permitting, instigating, authorizing, encouraging, participating in, approving, or continuing any form of unlawful interference with Plaintiffs transit operations, including, but not limited to, any strike, work stoppage, sick-out, slowdown, refusal to work overtime, refusal to undertake assigned work or tasks, or any concerted activity to disrupt transit operations consistent with the status quo or activity that has the effect of disrupting transit operations, or engaging in any other conduct in violation of the RLA.

The Court’s Order further provides that ATDA “shall instruct all members represented by Defendants and employed by Plaintiff to resume their normal working schedules immediately and immediately cease any coordinated ‘callouts,’ job action, or strike.”

 In accordance with the Court's Order, members are hereby instructed to return to performing service while said Order remains in place if they have not done so already. A hearing is currently scheduled for 10am on Tuesday, May 20.
